Toys, Books, Videos at 70% Off

Did you ever wonder what happens to undeliverable mail? The U.S. Postal Service auctions it to willing buyers. Everything from the Christmas sweater you never received from grandma to the latest infomercial diet craze that never found its rightful dieter. Some people attend these
auctions and collect bundles of items that they then resell for a profit at flea markets, garage sales, or retail stores.

Contact the Mail Recovery Centers listed below to learn more about the auctions in your area. You can be put on a mailing list to receive advance notice about the auctions. These auctions are held every six to eight weeks, with lots of similar goods being offered together. Although what is available varies from auction to auction, you will generally find anything that can be mailed — from CDs to televisions and books to jewelry and clothes. Call ahead to find out about payment procedures. Some require cash only, while others allow checks for those pre-approved.
